PURPOSE AND EFFECT: To develop or amend policies outlining and/or clarifying the School’s governance in regards to the governing of board meetings, agenda, exempt meetings, public participation at Board meetings, standards of ethical conduct, conflict of interest, lactation and nursing mothers, career and technical education, career and technical education work-based opportunities, exceptional student education, selection and adoption of instructional materials, student accidents, promotion, acceleration, placement and retention, field and other school-sponsored trips, graduation requirements, student and parent complaints, student/parent rights, parent/guardian notification and permission (school-sponsored events and activities), student fund raising, hazardous substances, school safety and security, reports of suspicious activity and potential threats to schools, safe school officers, food service program and free and reduced-price meals at TCA.
